Hi! I'm glad you're here! Thank you for considering me to document this special time in your life.
As a child, I loved looking through my parents' and grandparents' old photo and wedding albums. That look back in time gave me a sense of who they were as kids, newlyweds, and new parents.
I strive to bring that sense of who you are to every wedding day and portrait session, so your unique story is told through photos that you are proud to hang on your walls and print in albums.
I approach photography through a blend of documentary-style candids and posing guidance. I help you feel comfortable in front of the camera while also showcasing your personality and capturing moments of the day just as they happened.
My true-to-color editing with a bit of pop brings life and warmth to your photos so you remember the day as it looked and as it felt. Life isn't flat; it's vibrant and magical and your photos should feel the same way.

I describe myself as a shy extrovert (I know what you're thinking..."how does that work?"). I thrive off the energy of others, like most extroverts, but, I prefer to not be the center-of-attention. I do want to be right in the middle of a good party, though!
I bring a calmness to a wedding day or session, so you can relax and enjoy the moment, but I love to make it fun too!
about me
I have a big, crazy extended family! My parents have been married for over 60 years with 4 kids, 15 grandkids, and 2 great grandkids all living in Northern California.
It has been so much fun for my husband and me to raise our three kids surrounded by so much love and family. We are a wild, chaotic bunch, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Photography has sharpened my appreciation for the beauty of God's creation. More than ever, I see His handiwork in the colorful sunsets, the fields of wildflowers, a new baby's tiny fingers, and a loving glance between newlyweds.

Our beautiful Butte County, CA has so much to offer. One of my favorite activities is beating the heat by spending the day at Lake Oroville with family.
We usually head out to the lake on Sunday afternoons after church, so if you see a big, loud, wild group with too many kids on a tube, yeah, that's probably us! Stop and say hi and join the chaos!

My dad served for 20 years in the military and flew all over the world. My husband's parents were missionaries to the Philippines and the US Virgin Islands. We both got that wanderlust from our parents and we've passed it on to our kids. I have been to most of the US states and 16 countries. I'm always dreaming of my next trip!

That's not a completely accurate statement. It's more like, I live on sugar, creamer, and flavor with a few splashes of coffee. A blended Dutch Bros cocomo is my favorite! I'm trying to love the sugar-free version but it hasn't quite fully won me over, so if you have a favorite sugar-free coffee, let me know!

I love all my fur babies. As a family, we have 4 cats and 1 dog, but this spicy little fluff ball is mine. She has a total attitude and yet, for some reason, I love her for it.
I'm a little bit obsessed with her and she knows it, but does not appreciate my attempts at affection (unless they include treats). Maybe that's what makes her so irresistible....that and all that soft, fluffy fur!
